Thanks Richard. I got to my AppData\Roaming\Windows folder but there is no Cookies file or folder there. Any ideas where else it might be?

I just found it. It's under Microsoft Excel 16 Object Library. But thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks for the help Dave. I added Microsoft Office 12, 14, and 16 Object Library and I still don't see Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel in the references. My app is a plain old .NET console app.

Which would you recommend? My goal is to start small, write my own code, and gradually expand to building my own store.

Thanks for your help. I had already found your first reference above, downloaded it and ran it successfully. It is not what I want because I want to create a new menu item to run it, not just key off an existing event. However, your other reference looks like it will get me where I want to go. Thanks again.

I did find that page on my first search. My problem is that I don't find Microsoft.Tools.Office.V4.0.Utilities in my list of .NET references so I can't add it to my project. The Visual Studio automatic project builder tried to add it and couldn't find it. I followed the link to download Microsoft.NET Framework 4 and I get an error message saying that I already had a higher version installed. I did find Microsoft.Tools.Office.V9.0 and tried adding that reference. I still get the same error that there is no definition for .Startup or .Shutdown

As you can see from my response above, that worked. Thanks for your help.

I meant that I compared the references and the using to make sure they were the same. I wasn't looking very carefully because I missed the fact that on the current project I did not include the System.Windows.Forms reference as you can see from my response below. Thanks for your time.

Thanks. When I added the reference System.Windows.Forms, it worked. Can't believe I missed that.

I finally figured out how to attach a binding souce and it still wouldn't work. After searching on the error message I found about 6 responses that said I needed to have a primary key on my data table. I did and always have. so I gave up and explicitly wrote sql statments to save the table. The solution is below if anyone is interested.

Thanks SA. I figured it was something to do with connecting it to the form.

I'm making progress but I'm still not seeing my new textbox. Here's my code:
Private Sub Form1_Load(sender As System.Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
TextBox1.AppendText("sales")
textBoxes(1) = New TextBox()
With textBoxes(1)
.Top = 60
.Left = 17
.Height = 20
.Width = 104
.Visible = True
.ForeColor = Color.Black
.BackColor = Color.Transparent
.AcceptsReturn = False
End With
End Sub
What am I missing?

It's just some code to take some time. My real app is much more complicated.
