thank you for your help first of all, however, I really can not find it, just have a look at the MSDN webpage for UWP rectangel:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/uwp/api/windows.ui.xaml.shapes.rectangle
I think this page should cover all the events for rectangle, can you find any mouse events?

I found one stupid solution as follows
string[] textsplit = ComBoxTest.SelectedItem.ToString().Split(':');
if (textsplit.Length>1)
MessageBox.Show(textsplit[1].ToString());
but, I really want to understand the root cause or mechanism here. Can it be a bug? I do not think so.

really, then it is more strange here. I have tried with both VS2015 community version on Win10 and VS2013 express version on Win7. It shows the same problem.
Have you tried exactly the same code as mine?

Frankly speaking, the following code works suddenly when I remove some code and funny thing is that when add the removed code, it still works.
therefore, no clue why it worked. But one thing is clear the language package should be downloaded in the way that in the speech control panel. It may not work if you directly download the speech package from microsoft page and install it.
private string LanguageCulture="en-US";
speechRecognizer= new SpeechRecognitionEngine(new CultureInfo(LanguageCulture));

more funny thing, as I have said, the default language supported is en-US, therefore, the following code private SpeechRecognitionEngine recognizer =
new SpeechRecognitionEngine(new System.Globalization.CultureInfo("en-US"));
should be equivalent the code below
private SpeechRecognitionEngine speechRecognizer = new SpeechRecognitionEngine();
right? but it is not. with explicite indication of the culturinfo of en-US always gives such error. I can not understand it.

I have even a feeling that this is Microsoft intention,haha.
Visual studio 2015 Community is quite complicated and the installation met quite often problems, I have started the installation from yesterday till now, it still has not finished. I think this may be yet another reason why lot of people do not like use Visual studio. I have never met so many problems in using softwares.

no, no idea at all. I can not find the directory /data/data/App5.App5/lib/.
I do feel strange, based on Xamarin website, once everything is installed. it should not give such errors. I found further during my installation of Xamarin, it gives some exceptions in the log, but I am not sure whether these exceptions cause such problems. but by uninstall and install again does not help either. by the way, have you used Visual studio commnity 2015 with Xamarin?

thanks, I agree with you on the ID suggestion. But here, the problem is different.
I found out that with more try, actually, the ID is increased one by one, when I just click the button which executes this row adding operation. that means the new rows have been sucessfully added. Only the problem is that the database is not really saved.

thanks, yes, I can try on different PC, but I have only my own PC at home. even it works on other PC, e.g. my working PC, win7.
I need to make it work for Vista.
now I found more things strange to me:
I found that the SpeechLib on my PC is version 5.3. It seems does not support Chinese. then I try to download chinese package from Microsoft, but Only SpeechSDK51LangPack.exe exists, in order to install this, SpeechSDK51.exe has to be installed first. If I install SDK 5.1, then it seems this version too low and therefore can not replace original 5.3 version. then you can see the problems. I really do not understand why Microsoft does this way.
msttss22L.exe 2.0 MB
sapi.chm 2.3 MB
Sp5TTIntXP.exe 3.5 MB
SpeechSDK51.exe 68.0 MB
SpeechSDK51LangPack.exe 81.5 MB
SpeechSDK51MSM.exe 131.5 MB

so far, I can not make it work.
it seems that the action can not be done for the item in a listview. I think for a single imagebutton, should be no problem.I could not figure out why no action for it. if you have time later, you can check why the following does not work:
protected void ListView_Book_DataBound(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
foreach (var item in ListView_Book.Items)
{
string cid = ((ImageButton)item.FindControl("Image_Button_BookCover")).ClientID;
ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(item, this.GetType(), item.ToString(), "<script type='text/javascript'>$(document).ready("
+"function(){$('" + cid + "').hover("
+"function(){val=document.getElementById('" + cid + "').Height;document.getElementById('" + cid + "').Height='400px';alert('hi')},"
+"function(){document.getElementById('" + cid + "').Height=val;});});</script>", false);
}
}

I have tried, but not yet sucessful, I have changed to the following in order to make sure it has some effect on the imagebutton,
ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(item, this.GetType(), item.ToString(), "<script type='text/javascript'>$(document).ready("
+"function(){$('" + cid + "').hover("
+"function(){val=document.getElementById('" + cid + "').Height;document.getElementById('" + cid + "').Height='400px';},"
+"function(){document.getElementById('" + cid + "').Height=val;});});</script>", false);
unfortunately, this intends to change the image button size, but it does not show the effect, i.e. imagebutton size is not changed.
then if I use the following test function
ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(item, this.GetType(), item.ToString(), "<script type='text/javascript'>$(document).ready(function(){$('p').hover(function(){$('p').css('background-color','yellow');},function(){$('p').css('background-color','#E9E9E4');});});</script>", false);
strangly, this shows some effect (i.e. color change) for the listview not the imagebutton.
do you have some idea for it?

I have simplified it again, I found I have met a very simple "problem":
see below just one step:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

</div>
<asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" Text="Label"> <% =image_url_default%>
</form>
</body>
</html>
using System;

using System.Web.UI;
using System.Web.UI.WebControls;
public partial class _Default : System.Web.UI.Page
{
public string image_url_default="~/Books/Ajax/AJAX In Action.jpg";
}
the problem is:
above two places to call the same variable "image_url_default", one is for image URL and the other is direclty output into a label, the lable output is correct, i.e. "~/Books/Ajax/AJAX In Action.jpg", but the image URL is not correct. I think there there is a simple or even stupid mistake done by myself, but I do not know what:)
