Detailed and informative, but the question was about hooking executables that are starting _inside Windows_. Thanks for the extensive answer, though!

I'm sorry, but you can't just really trot out the 'simply don't read it' argument here.
Anyway, this tip/trick doesn't really hold any true value to the community: I could fairly easily upload a file, and I can fairly easily use PhotoBucket, or ImageShack or the like.
Interesting site, in that you can upload wherever, but still not really of any value

Hmm, XML serialization only really likes items that it current expects, it has a problem with inherited objects (which is what I assume you are talking about). Sorry, I can't help you there, if that's the case.
