Not really, your question needs to be more specific. If you have a door with many locks, is your house secure or not? If you leave a window open, is your house secure or not?

Does the debugger indicate the actual line causing the error? This could be caused by any object, procedure or sequence of events anywhere in the code.

If they both are used for the same purpose, you can expect conflict or at least mental confusion.

Have you tried without using ID="RequiredFieldValidator2"? It should work fine without very old javascript. :)

Is this part of a sql command or an expression? Usually expressions are something like =Fields!FieldName.Value and the AS appears to be a column
