Please explain to me: What is a "job first algorithm"? And why should it be the "shortest"? I think, code hard to write should also be hard to read *g* Or did I misunderstand everything, and you are search for the "shortest job first" algorithm? What is this?

@Henry: I do not agree. It makes totally sense for me to use a TextBox. If his program will not calculate correct, he still can calculate by hand (or windows calculator or excel ....) an enter the data. Then he will make a screenshot, and present it to his teacher. It´s ok, so our jobs are save *g*

Your idea is wrong!
In the first iteration it would delete all records except the records with "a.jpg", in the second iteration all except the "b.jpg", this would result in deleting all records!!!!
