This is not what I am looking for.
I want to copy WinSdk at some custom folder... And then I want MDBuild to refer that folder while building.

Our build system is consists of pool of 100 machines.
When we fire a build, any machine will get selected to perform build.
Currently we will need to install WinSdk on all 100 machines. This is inconvenient as well as intrusive.
That's the reason we want to keep sdk in repository... So that at the time of build we will just sync it ....

On removing it gives errors for undeclared identifier
error C2065: 'IAssemblyCache' : undeclared identifier
Shall i use the fusion.h from older sdk ? As it contains interface declarations only.

Based on your comments i have made two changes in the code.
1)Changed wdirectory_iterator to directory_iterator
2)To retrieve wide char filepath from the iterator
i am using
iter->path().generic_wstring();
instead of
std::tstring filePath = iter->string();
Let me know if i am right.

Thanks for the comment. I have code like following.
boost::filesystem::wdirectory_iterator dirEndIter;
for(boost::filesystem::wdirectory_iterator iter(logParentDirectory); iter != dirEndIter; ++iter)
{
if(!boost::filesystem::is_regular_file(iter->status()))
{
continue;
}
std::tstring filePath = iter->string();
//I use this "filepath" for some further processing
.
.
.
.
.
}
How to convert it to suit newer boost implementation.
I am trying with following. Is it correct ?
boost::filesystem::directory_iterator dirEndIter;
for(boost::filesystem::directory_iterator iter(logParentDirectory); iter != dirEndIter; ++iter)
{
if(!boost::filesystem::is_regular_file(iter->status()))
{
continue;
}
std::tstring filePath = iter->path().generic_wstring();
//I use this "filepath" for some further processing
.
.
.
.
.
}

The unclear documentation is creating some suspicion here. I am checking it by passing the NULL. Will update thread shortly.

Does that mean first parameter is redundant and should always sent as a NULL ?

libxml_mdd.lib is a static library.
You are right. We can get rid of this problem using a wrapper dll. I am going ahead with this approach as a workaround. Will investigate more once i finish the work.

/FORCE:MULTIPLE is a worse solution i guess. Because these definitions are coming from three different libraries, and we dont know if they are same. Its more probable that they are different symbols with same name.

Please check the function DllMain of the problematic dll. Remove everything from the function and try. We should not call anything from the DllMain whose code is resided in another dll.

Just try to create a new COM project in the VS 2005 with the MFC as a shared library. And observe the stdafx.h . Copy these entries to your stdafx.h
I doubt if atl.h or some header file needs to be included in stdafx.h
This is just a guess ...... but see if it works for you.

bang bang ...... @R.Eramus
Use ASSERT for the validation puprose at the development time only.
Using it in "while" or any decision taking statement should be avoided.
Adding and removing ASSERT should not change the behaviour of your program.This macro is designed to capture programming errors, not user or running errors

Bill gates developed such kind of stuff when he was younger. Linus Torvalds started Linux project when he was studying in university. Do not demoralize/underestimate the one who want to discover something new in the area of technology. Anything can be possible.
Even if he is not serious he can start it just for fun to know OS internals ...

Craete an C# application.
Go to View ---> Toolbox
In the toolbox look for WebBrowser control
Drag it to your dialog box ....
Now in your code try to access webbrowser1.Document
here Document is nothing but the object of HtmlDocument.
You can use this object to manipulate the HTML loaded in the WebBrowser component.
(here webbrowser1 is the object of Webbrowser created by the Visual studio after you place the control on the dialog box. Name could be different in your case like webbrowser2, webbrowser3)

yes i have converted all the related projects to VS2008.
There are 2 Dlls .... Flow is like this
Application--> DLL1--->DLL2--->OCI Wrapper DLL(3rd party)-->OCI.dll(Oracle dll)
oci.dll has coresponding oci.lib , it is a C api.
One more thing i found is, when i comment out OCI_Initialize function from the code, All gets loaded successfully. OCI_Initialize is a function from OCI_Wrapper.
Hence to verify, i have created a test application which will directly call the OCI_Wrapper functions. This testapplication works properly.
Now i am totally confused ...why is it so ?? All dependent DLLs and lib files are in the place. I am using all release builds configuration.
