So it turns out I solved it.

I have the text a position of absolute and so that took it out of the document flow.

Hi thanks for replying here is a basic code example of how I've done things. The components that are in the product page are just stacked one on top of the other for some reason. Could this be cause I am
using Material UI? I can also send you a photo of how things look as well if that would help

Thanks for replying. Well it seems that the columns Stretch from left to right and the Rows make up the cell from top to bottom. Here is an example of a Grid with Three columns and two rows

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ R1 @ R2 @R3@ Column 1
@ @ @ @
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ @ @ @
@ @ @ @ Column 2
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

So if this is a Grid with two Columns and Three Rows then if would make sense that the column axis runs from left to right and the Row goes from the top down please let me know if I'm missing something!

Hi sorry for the late reply. Here is roughly what I want to do.
I'm just wondering how to actually store the inputs into a class instance instead of an Array
