Unfortunately the problem is still there....I don't know if the VS2012 project upgrade wizard made something that I cannot see...

Thats exactly how it is. System.Drawing for instance is 2.0. I don't know if there is an explicit 3.5 Version of it. After referencing it again it was still 2.0....

I don't know if I understand you. There are no remaining assemblys that need to be set. Really all are set to 3.5 or lower...

Hello,I checked all contained Projects in the Solution. They all say the Target framework is set to 3.5. I also checked all the referenced dlls in all projects. None is higher than 3.5. I also tried to reference the dll in question again... So this seems not to be the reason...Anybody got an other idea?

These settings were the First I checked and they all were 3.5
....

Hello Chester,
thanks for your answer. So, if I get you right, you are saying that both consuming and creating a Webservice with a specific interface require the same Basic steps.
So I could give the vendor a running version of my Service he could download the wsdl from it and create his own service based ok this interface.
Is this correct?
