I'm assuming this is for Windows machines only?
If so, and you want to roll the solution yourself, you can use the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\MachineGuid
Alternatively use a 3rd-party licencing library, there are several.

This sounds like a homework question to me.
If I'm right, you're expected to solve it yourself - there's no benefit to you in getting others to do your homework, you just learn nothing that way.
If I'm wrong, post specific details about exactly where you're stuck and what you've tried.
