It's a serial port, Zumbach measuring device sends a string (DA3.555 DC4.888 DA3.8547) via the serial port to the computer, my question is how to read this string using any of web page languages?
Thank you

Measuring gage parser file connected to the QC-Calc, I'm not sure it's Linux, I've just filled out the empty field to post my question.

Thanks for your answer, I'll use your idea, here's the code I use for HTML and Javascript:
appears in the user form input, which is not suitable for me
function imprvinp(){
for(var n=1; n<=''; n++){
if (document.getElementById("imprvid_"+n).value.includes("'")){ document.getElementById("imprvid_"+n).value=document.getElementById("imprvid_"+n).value.replace("'", "_"); }
if (document.getElementById("imprvid_"+n).value.includes("\n")){ document.getElementById("imprvid_"+n).value=document.getElementById("imprvid_"+n).value.replace("\n", ""); }
}
}

Thanks,
Ok, I have HTTPS already, through the SSL, what if a user copied their url, sent it to another person using another device, this url contains the user password!

Thanks for your response, actually, all the $ip return resulted from the 'REMOTE_ADDR' in the above code, so the code skipped the Client and Forward IP addresses!
Here's the reason I need the exact IP address of the user for, because I have a password input form, then it goes to confidential information page, so what I need is to be sure that the same person who entered the password is who is looking at those info, using the same device

Can you please suggest a simple script to upload a photo, even without checking any image type or size, in a folder name "Meetings" on the server, just to ensure that it's loaded?
Note: Upload is ON in the php.ini file

Thank you Peter_in_2780, but the issue is, when I try to check the name of the uploaded file using echo "alert('$uploadfile')"; it returns "Meeting/", ignoring "basename($_FILES['fileToUpload']['name'])" this means my uploaded file name is not read by the script!
Any ideas?
