Hi Richard I updated the mail.To.add statement mail.To.Add(gv.SelectedRow.Cells[2].Text); and error info 'The parameter 'addresses' cannot be an empty string. Parameter name: addresses'. for date format, what do you mean about ToString method up there i put in? Thanks

Working code in the comment under Member 10264652 is not working to pinpoint my directory/file (path: C:\utils) for file counts and date. why did it work for yours and not mine?
