@steveb I want to know how much heap memory and program initializes and frees, so i can just overload the operator and add one more line of code to keep in track the memory i'm initializing or freeing

sorry for the inconvenience but i tried it just as you showed in your code but it gives a lot of errors, there might be something you didn't tell me becuz its common sense but i'm new to c++ so you're help would be great, anyway the errors come when initializing any variable using new,its "Identifier "MyNew" is undefined"

@OriginalGriff, i had been reading, writing and renaming before this started to happen, The drive,all the folders in which the file is and the file itself has write,read and modify permissions for myself, but it still does that
