It is being declare in the method, Mat hierarchy = new Mat(); but the same error still exist

I have solved the issue on getting the red portion of the image. However my next step will be calculating the percentage of red in the image. Let say one third of the image is in red then it should show: "percentage of red = 33.33%" Do you have any suggestion on getting the calculation? thanks

Thanks, i got it solved.
However, if i want to count the number of pixels that is red (or the percentage of red ) how do i do so ? do you have any suggestion to that?
