Reason for my vote of 5
Because using Lotus Notes sucks, you just gave me an idea for an article. Attachments in Lotus notes emails...

Yeah I initially tried this but it doesn't work for folders, you can only link to files. What really annoyed me about this is that I couldn't even work around it, for example by adding a command line parameters to the registry keys under AppPaths

Thanks for the feedback:
"Useful shortcut, but i would prefer to use double click :)" - I'm a double click rsi cripple that's why I prefer the keyboard :)
"Interesting, but I find the shortcut not very useful for my cases." - Can I ask how you navigate in your cases?
Try the tool as it adds Favorites to Windows Explorer as well as run dialog short cuts.
