i solved the problem,it was the php file,i was making a int a string.i changed it to a string

i changed the siss to sss

bro thank you for your help.i assigned some variables in my controller to count the number of courses.your code gave me the sum of the course.so i called my variable as viewbag and it worked like magic.i can now add courses to each student n find averages

can you show me how to do that in the viewmodel and controller and pass it to the view.all tried most linq methods but gives error.help me out
