that column is named as documentContent . You can see that column in my code. I have successfully inserted the data, but that column is not showing.

actually i have added a button (select index) in each row of gridview. The on clicking the button i am calling that method (deleting) to delete my row from the gridview. Got it?

But in that solution you will have to mention the destination page. Otherwise it will throw the null reference exception. Mean i session state you must have just one destination page.

I tried it. Its not working. I created a session at one page in my application. Then at another page i retrieved that value. But its not retrieving.

Sorry i didn't get you point. By the way h is "int?"(null-able int). Would you like to slightly explain that?
