I don't think you understand my question at all I don't have any error messages or problems with a e-mail field, are you sure you are reading my post and not answering someone else his post? Also statements like "learn Ajax" and "knowledge of web development is very lacking" are useless and unhelpfull statements.

HiYou posted "when the first form is submitted to the PHP script, that PHP script will take over to render the HTML output as a new page" that is not what's happening.

when the 1st form is validated things like:
"Please enter your e-mail" validation text appears above the forms input box.

but when I use the other form on that page the validation text appears in a blank page and not above the seconds form input field.

I also do not know Ajax.
