i got a hold of one of my old roomates whos a game programer he works for one of the big wig companys i rather not mention. and he told me bout python. he help me install it into my computer. thought me hoe to do the hello world thing. though me about integer, baloons,strings and floats and since yesterday night ive been doing the beginner programs. so ive been practicing all day.
just wished somebody in this forum would of told me about it since its "suppose" to be the best programing forum on the net. thats the reason i joined. anyways thanks for all your input. i will let you guys know on how my progress is doing thanks guys

sounds like a great idea let me just go to my jar of unlimited funds. that wont be possible. cant afford it. cant get grants either

theres to much to do to upgrade this pc i wont even know if my pc will be able to handle win 7 i dont even have blank dvds for the download software. while i gather up the tools i need to be able to get visual basic, maybe a upgraded pc or a new one. is there other ways for me to gain/understand more about programing and coding? i have tons of books on programing, like perl,c,c++ plus im dowloading more books on python java etc.. how would you guys recomend for me to start my learning process
