Whenn i click on car, few values will show up in second dropdownlist.
But when i click on select, second dropdownlist sholud be disabled but so far no luck

No length but i used .count and worked perfectly.

Existing gridview meaning the one which is able to use delete

i have a admin site where one of the roles is to update loan applications. Hence they are also able to delete. I want a conditional delete where only when there are no loans which are applied for that they can then delete. Hence it does not make any sense to put two gridviews in a page. Hence I decided to retrieve from the database and compare it with the existing gridview. I have tried to use the code above but unfortunately, there is an error. So I was wondering if you could help me solve?

I am not sure how to compare hence there are no codes. For the table that I want to delete a row, I have used a gridview to do the command, however the second table which I am comparing to is not found in the page. Hence have to do a reader.read
