so if you take a look at the images the total column for those are totally wrong. the desired output would be 2 for genesse - total 2 for macomb - total 1 for oakland - total and 1 for wayne - total. I'm trying to get the sum of the numbers in the element for that particular county total row.

the script I tried to use is in the post...valid for integer textboxes would be numbers, invalid would be letters. valid for text textboxes would be letters and words, invalid would be numbers. I'm stuck trying to get the script to validate the textboxes, the upc,price, and quantity should only accept integers. The longDetails and shortDetails should only accept text.
