but i think it is easy to retain structure when u use modify but is it possible to retain xml structure when we select node that we do not want to delete.

If i am inheriting Asax and code behind file both with Microsoft.Practises.CompositeWeb.WebClientApplication then Application_start event of my .cs class is not getting executed.

Thanks for your response but I did the above changes as suggested by you. Still the same thing is happening Application_Start is not getting triggered. It is executing some other function.

And visual studio is showing a message : sub Application_start shadows an override method in base class webclientApplication. To override the base method, This method must be declared override.

if i am giving the above line in the script than it is working but when i am adding administrators to the above line :
GetObject("WinNT://" + serverName + "/Administrators")
script is giving error "Error contacting server"

This is classic asp so i dont have any option of breakpoint however i am sure that var objGroup = GetObject("WinNT://" + serverName + "/Administrators") this line is giving the error.

I dont know how to check this windowsNT directory or how to proceed in this situation.

Mahesh but the above specified solution is applicable when we have the file on that server but what if we want to give user a option of select file as the attachment a user should be able select the multiple attachment with a browse button. I Believe this can be done with ASP input type as file but I don't know how to pass that path in objMyEmail.AddAttachment :?/????
