yeah the problem is solved..now the page is not reloading

my requirment is very small..what here i want to do is-->
"when and as soon as the webform7.aspx page is fully loaded then it should auto click the button which will invoke the code behind method and do the stuff"

I did this only but the page is reloading and i need to stop the reload..

okay so how do i stop that autopostback from happening when the button is clicked??

but i need the javascript to load as the page is loaded..On removing this the javascript will not work when the page is loaded..
also i tried to use jQuery and its not loaded when the page is loaded

so is there any other way to stop that reload??

i know how to use ajax..i am using it as "ScriptManager", "UpdatePanel" and "UpdateProgress" and then changing the panel as it is necessary to display the msg to user

but here i want to do a task as soon as the page is loaded
i also tried [System.Web.Services.WebMethod] with jquery and with ajax also
but none is working or maybe i am not doing it in the correct way
i can do my work either by calling the [WebMethod] or it will be best if its a button onclick method
can you please show me any small example so that i can complete my task

OMG.."Session_Start" in Global.asax worked
i added a new session like this there

protected void Session_Start(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Session.Add("UsernameAvailable", "false");
}
and then checked in the content page page_load

except for using "WriteLine" or "\n" instead of "Write" or "\r"
i m using Write so that it do not create the new line everytime
and i m using \r so that the line is updated evertime

sir..i want to do 2 things at one time i means i want to use 2 different for loops at the same time in and it display in console..by using threading class is it possible??

i checked..what it is doing is when it copies the whole file then it moves further and so the si is 100% shown..the wrong thing is i think file.copy..is it??
