because based on the solution im able to retrieve the value I want in debugging at selectedDATE. However still facing the error in the same line. Are you able to improvise form the solution?

Yes, the codes read the selected items from the checkboxlist and put into one parameter for the stored procedure where condition

no error with that. its my sp connection. I have tried it with other parameters (not date) it works fine. I only faced error with my date parameter

In my db its in yyyy-mm-dd format e.g 2015-08-31

it doesn't fail just does not return any data. in debugging mode no values are read.

DATE.DataTextFormatString is to display in my checkboxlist in this format e.g 31-Aug-2015 instead of 31-08-2015 00:00:00

With DATE.DataTextFormatString = "{0:dd-MMM-yyyy}"; it returns operator clashes with int. If I remove the datetextformat string, it does not read any values during debugging

Hi, I have tried using your dynamic sql with my own for each statement as coded ^. it works for the 1st page but not for the 2nd page onwards ( it only displays the 1st selected list item in the 2nd page and paging is removed. Anyway to solve the error?
