Now I changed the code, I'm using that one.
Hashtable emotions;
private void CreateEmotions()
{
emotions = new Hashtable(5);
emotions.Add(":)", Properties.Resources.ThumbsUp1);
emotions.Add("0)", Properties.Resources.AngelSmile1);
emotions.Add(":(", Properties.Resources.CrySmile1);
emotions.Add(":X", Properties.Resources.AngrySmile1);
emotions.Add("XX", Properties.Resources.DevilSmile);
}
private void AddEmotions(Hashtable emotions)
{
foreach (string emote in emotions.Keys)
while (txtLoad.Text.Contains(emote))
{
int ind = txtLoad.Text.IndexOf(emote);
txtLoad.Select(ind, emote.Length);
Clipboard.SetImage((Image)emotions[emote]);
txtLoad.Paste();
}
}
I added all the images to Resource (In Properties)

And it doesnt work, just shows the same letters I type.

That's the command that prints the normal msg on the richtextbox:
if (msgReceived.strMessage != null && msgReceived.cmdCommand != Command.List)
{
txtLoad.Text += msgReceived.strMessage + "\r\n";
}
txtLoad is the textbox.
What is wrong?

Main chat is broadcast, unlimited clients.
Private chat is only 2.
Same answer, How do I set that private chat for only 2 clients. How do I make the connection between those 2 clients and send it to 1 client and not all of the clients will receive the private message.
What do I have to do to send the message to Client2 from Client1 ????

Thats also not the poit I opened that tread i am just looking for help. I have the main chat working its just I need help with how can I create that little private chat from clients who entered the main chat i dont think i need to send the whole code I feel its just not necessary and as you said. The point isnt the write the code for me. So, when a client wants to send private message to another client. Ill sort it by numbers.
1. Client1 clicks on Client2 from the listbox
2. PrivateChat form opens on Client1's display.
3.Client1 sends message to Client2
4. PrivateChat form appears on Client2's display
5. Client2 can reply to Client1
6.private chat sucsess.
What I can do at the moment is open the private chat on client1 and there is no actual chat. What i need is to know how to set the message send to client2. Please that's all I need.
