Thats right thanks marciej, AVG() along with other functions like SUM() are all reserved words in access,but I have even tried AVG(Expresion) Group By (primary key) for instance to no avail it appears using AGGREGATE fucx from c#=>Access has some isues.

The other app is a scanning application it scans units to be built.Some of these units have problems like a standard unit weighs could be TR345BN-BB and its Target weight might be 135lbs ,but if otherwise I want to be able to check before sending it down to the next process, my application will go in take data already scanned does some calculation and it will be up to the person doing the count to make decision based on what ever deliverable the program has accomplished.

Hi Chris find below is my code I just want that everytime I populate the listbox
it should perform task according to the way the occure
for instance
from top to bottom CIS402.pdf, CIS330.pdf, CIS411.pdf,CIS244.pdf, all these are files that I want to print but I want them to print from top to bottom starting from CIS402.pdf
This my code so far

sorry SA ,I just meant if on the listbox the first Item was re45.pdf, and second item re55.pdf, it should print the them respectively with re45.pdf first and re55.pdf second

Hi Ramza360 I'm back everuthing is working like charm only I have been notified there are some lil issues. For items on the listbox could be ==>PRINTERONE.pdf,printtwo.pdf,printthree.pdf is there a way for me to make it print in that order? and not just printing randomly?

it goes to c:\\slimyyyy(folder) grabs files that in listbox say LE4506.pdf and opens and close...very fast..
