i checked sql sever configuration manager and tcpport is 1433,
share memory enabled
tcp/ip enabled
named pipes enabled
via disabled

and i had kaspersky virus guard installed on as well. but i disabled the virus guard as well.
still not working................

i removed try catch block as well
no errors still.............

yes i'm getting values from users through input boxes......

i said because my if condition and i tried else condition. both are working. just else if only not working.

actually it's more than two conditions. so o have to use 40 persons b'day like this. for that i have to use 4o if conditions.
