Found the answer myself. Linebreaks 'apparently' don't work in the share charm but they work in the app the data is send to.

I want to write a code that would convert a PNG into XAML Path like it happens in Expression Blend. In Blend, we create a closed shape on the design pane and its corresponding XAML path automatically appears in the code pane. I want to do this conversion manually.
