i think we are giving the location of form dynamically so we are setting its StartPosition to be manual..

thank you so much johannwsnestler. this code finally works but here the forms and button are created from back end. which is a bit confusing. i will try to implement this in my project. My friend me were really having nightmare trying this. i think it will be done now. :). thank you vey much..

let me explain you. i have Form1 with a button in it. In the click event of the form i get form 2. both the form are of small size. i run the project. i got the form1 and click the button, then from 2 appears just below the button as our ideal solution. then i close the form 2 and drag the form one to the opposite side of the screen and click the button at that time the form 2 appears at its previous location. i want form to appear again below the button which is not happening. i run the project. and the main form appears. i drag the main form to the corner(as it is small in size). then i click, form2 appears to the previous main form location. i don't want this to happen. i am searching but still not found :(.

not really. suppose i have main from and button in it. and i have another Form form2, when i click in the button of the mail form i want Form 2 appear just below the button. No matter where i kept the button and when i kept the main form i.e. in any corner..
