Thanks for the response. I am using third party libraries in my project. If they give fixes in those projects and if they change the file version of their projects, do I need to rebuild my project as well.

Thanks for explanation . From your comment I understood that WH_KEYBOARDHOOK_LL provides more information compare to WH_KEYBOARDHOOK.

My requirement is to log to a file whenever 'Enter' key is pressed. Which hook is better to use?

I have removed the file writing part and still seeing the same issue. Same code is working fine on windows 7

We able to found the issue. Lookslike two exes are loading to same memeory addres. Chaning the share map address fixed the issue

From the windbg logging, I have seen access violation from clr and after that it is showing dll loading issues. Is it because clr crash the dll is not loading?

I am doing the debugging and in the meantime posted the question to get some clues :)

Thanks for the response. I have checked the link .I am facing an applicatio crash intermittently with ERROR_DLL_INIT_FAILED . I have a c# project which loads a managed cpp dll. managed Cpp dll will load a third party native cpp dll (not using load library function to load the native cpp dll , using header file and the lib file). While creating the object for the managed cpp dll then C# application is throw exception with error code 1114. From the error, can I assume that native dll dllmain function is returning false?

Thanks for the reply. We are not only changing the editor but also changing the compiler version to 19. Just want to understand, whether microsoft discarded this lib or moved it to other lib file

I am not sure whether the lib is static lib or not.So I am thinking that copying the lib from older version might cause runtime issues

Forgive me if I dont understand your intention. I can see these declarations in msxml4 headers but as I said we dont want to use msxml4.dll anymore

Thanks for your reply . I also checked the above link previously but with vs2015 installation these Symbolic Names are not declared in any of the header files. I can able find the CLSID_XMLSchemaCache60 information only in the header files with the vs2015 installation

Is it ok if I hardcode the GUID values and use it in my program

But I dont find the symbolic names in the headers files of vs2015

After I change the below code from

#import <msxml4.dll>
using namespace msxml2

to
#import <msxml4.dll> rename_namespace(_T("MSXML"))

then the domdocument40 error was resolved . Below three errors still I am getting

In the provided link I can see the classids. Does this mean if I hardcode in my project CLSID_DOMDocument40 to {88d969c0-f192-11d4-a65f-0040963251e5} and use it in my project?
