I am using asp .net web forms project and your SQL code I have written in stored procedure. By the way, I solved the problem using 'exec (@sql)'.

Yes, but in my solution explorer there is no option like add database reference. This is not database project, this is web forms application.

To use sp_executesql, you gave me a link, in that solution it says to add database reference in solution explorer. When I right click in my solution explorer reference folder, there is no option like - add database reference. Only add reference and add service reference is there. But, with exec, the stored procedure works fine. The error is in the IF statement. Let me try to use stored procedure without if statement.

Thanks for your reply. You are right but in my VS2013, using sp_executesql gives error -
'the procedure has unresolved reference to the object [dbo].[sp_executesql]'

Writing the statement - EXEC sp_executesql @sql - gives the error - 'the procedure has an unresolved reference to object [dbo].[sp_executesql]'

I have already gone through this link. I don't find anything helpful to my problem because I am not adding script as add new item to the project. I am creaing stored procedure in server explorer.

Thank you for your reply. You are right that database management will be difficult. But the dedicated database server we are going to use for this.
1. Here you have written - authorization [dbo] - does it mean that new schema will be created under the schema [dbo]?
2. IF EXISTS(SELECT * FROM sys.objects WHERE name = 'BuildCustomerSchema' AND [schema_id] = SCHEMA_ID('dbo')) in this line what does - [schema_id] = SCHEMA_ID('dbo') - it mean? I can't understand because I have used stored procedure only for tables.

There is one table in which i will store details of each user. But under each user there are various tables as per user's requirements. Like for automobiles' business and for restaurant there will be different products and all other things. So, I want to diffrentiate tables under each schema. This is multitenant application.

On google I found the answer that says to do appropriate settings in sql server configuration manager. But i didn't find the Microsoft SQL server 2012 option in my start menu. Does it mean that sql server is not installed in my PC?

Will it be installation problem? I have installed VS 2013. So all sql server commponents are those installed automatically in this setup. There was no error in installation.

I don't know the server name. So I add new database using add connection instead of using 'create new sql server database'. In 'ADD CONNECTOIN' server name is not asked. As I add new databse instead of existing one, I can't test connection.

How does db.cities fetches data from database? I have used stored procedure to fetch the data and it returns datatable.
Following is the code I am selecting data from that datatable :
public ActionResult Index()
{
DbConnect objdb = new DbConnect();//connection to database
DataTable dt= objdb.ExecuteDataset("usp_allCities"); // call to the function that calls the stored procedure
List<SelectListItem> cityList=new List<SelectListItem>();
var mylist = new SelectList(dt.);
for (int i = 0; i < dt.Rows.Count; i++)
{
cityList.Add(new SelectListItem { Text = dt.Rows[i]["CityName"].ToString(), Value = dt.Rows[i]["CityId"].ToString() });
}
ViewData["CityName"] = (IEnumerable<SelectListItem>)cityList;
return View(ViewData);
}

I want to pass two variables in one redirection. If you know the syntax, post here.
For one variable to pass in the query string we write following-
Response.Redirect("cabs.aspx?city="+cityname);
What if i want to pass two citynames in query string?
