I have tried many more.But my question is first of all i have populted data in dropdownlist from DB with ID and When is select ID the Related Name will display in TextBox.But when i insert data-
ea.Emp_Id = Convert.ToInt32(Empmasters);

the value of Empmasters showing the Name not ID.I know i have used-

ViewBag.attemp = new SelectList(db.Empmasters, "Emp_Name", "Emp_Id");

But is there any way to insert ID from dropdownlist with Name on textbox as well.

Records are Ok in table.I have resolved the problem.Actually i did not use Employeeid field in select query on which where condition working in HttpGet Action.Now it's working for me.

I know eid=null thats why it shows error Object reference not set to an instance of an object.But how can i resolved it.I tried it but not got the solution.Why model's EmployeeId shows=0 instead of actual id like 1,2..etc.Is there any data binding problem or something else.Similarly when i used Employeename instead of EmployeeID in where condition it works properly and Updata data.
