i have kendo combo box where user can type customer id and search ,so when it has one result it should auto select that customer that is what the requirement is.I dont require the first selection by default.

Hi
Well tat was the bit which worked ,the rest was fine.
So the solution was to just remove the line for integer conversion as I was passing the string and converting it to int.

this approach works out perfectly but the thing is,it automatically increments the after date which is out of my understanding.Can you help out for that

even this approach doesnt work out.The value is perfect in the debug mode but when i see it from on the screen automatically decimals are added.

doesnt work out still decimals for txtCurrentValue.Text = 16.0000
and for
txtCurrentQty.Text = qtyval.ToString("n") = 1.00

Till now i am getting the text of the scanned barcode in the textbox.Now the problem is that textchange event doesnt get fired after textbox is filled.I have to press enter for the event to be fired.

I am not getting any errors.The binding is done properly showing the data.Want i wanted is that it should fire an event when i click the cell in the gridview.
