Indeed it returns more that one row.The logic is that 1 row can fill my excel sheet so i wont for every row that comes from my query to create a new excel sheet

Hi at that state of my app i just wnt to validate all the textboxes with some logical criteria and store the wrong ones in my arraylist that' all.As of my streamreader my only question is that i need to simple call my function like this
checkdata= ValidateControls() before my Dim objStreamWriter As New StreamWriter(My.Settings.PathToShared & "\Arrival\Arrival - Saved.xml")" to store the textboxes in my list correct?

that's perfect my friend only one more question for the returned arraylist.
I have an Streamwriter to store all the data from the text boxes in an xml document
"Dim objStreamWriter As New StreamWriter(My.Settings.PathToShared & "\Arrival\Arrival - Saved.xml")"
i wnt to call my function before the Streamwriter to kick in.So if i am understood correct the only thing i need to do is to call the function before streamwriter like
checkdata= ValidateControls() ?

You are getting there i need to be like this
arr[0] = 1,2,3,4,5,6....->Submit_ID
arr[1]= Cotrol_Id,Form_ID,Row_NO(the rest columns) i want that because my submit id has multiple identical records because of Control_Id.Control_ID gets standar values between 15568 to 15578.
so its like that now
Submit ID Control ID
1 (SPACE) 15568
2 (SPACE) 15569
3 (SPACE) 15570
4 ....
... ...
10 (SPACE) 15568
I want to be like
SubmitID =1 ,2 ,3,4,.......
Controlid
formid
row_no
etc
To make it more clear i wnt per Submit_id to link all the columns beneath it

i wnt to store my whole table and then my first column with the name submit_id to convert her to row.So my final table will be something like
submit_ID submit_ID submit_ID submit_ID submit_ID submit_ID
control_id......
form_id.......
row_no..........
My table now is
