NOTE: The batch sample you provided will copy the file also to the root level...

tnx Richard, I see that this link is labeled "Visual Studio .NET 2003".
Are you familiar with the latest thread and Task libraries to know if they offer out-of-the-box implementations for this?

Tnx for the attention, the general idia of your code is nice!
One thing missing though - I need to iterate through the collection, each step getting the Hashset for the current order.
I will "5" your answer for the effort, but cannot accept it yet, as it does not answer for the iteration requirement

Yes, that's look just fine!
Do you want to post this as an answer so that I can accept it as a solution?

The links you posted in your previous answer focus on SQL based app.
I don't have a DB to set.
I can google for answers and start reading but I intended an answer that would save me the time to try 4 products until I see which one is good for me.
Thanks anyway thatraja...

A little, yes.
It seems very strict on it's stages, not flexible and most important, it works as an installer of a visual studio project.
I need something simpler. An installer that will extract and copy the files to the location, no registry needed. and the additional small feature, to set the StartMeny and TaskBar icon of the app's exe.
Perhaps I missed the
easy one click
option of it :) (direct me if so...)

If I set it as the Window Icon in the XAML it works just fine. like this:
Window ... Icon="
Images/MyIco.png
"
But, if I try to set it as the source for an Image, I get an IO exception the resource is not found:
Uri uri = new Uri("pack://application:,,,
/Images/MyIco.png
");
img.Source = BitmapFrame.Create(uri);

Thanks, What if I want to set that resource in code:I tried this:
img.Source = new BitmapImage(new Uri(@"pack://application:,,,/Images/MyPic.jpg"));
But I get IOException (cannot locate resource)is my code line good for that?

I am not sure your suggestion qualifies. In your approach, will the image be embedded in the assembly as I requested?

Hmm,
Can you specify the steps in more details.
I have the file in my project of course already, using:
Icon="MyProject.MyIco" in the Window element does not work.
The MyProject.MyIco is not recognized.

no, it doesn't, the most left '*' will not be inserted.
ONLY a sequence of a digit following a '(', and the only occurance in your string is "3(" will be replaced with "3*(" i.e. a '*' inserted in the middle of that digit and the '('.
if you need code for that let me know...

On the client side - if you don't need to write data, then it's fine, you can use the code I linked to in the solution, and you can use HTML 5 (updated another link for that too)

If you are talking about JS that runs in a Client's browser, I seriously doubt if it can be done, since access to perform actions on local files is denied (for obvious reasons...)
Try to explain more - What's your use case?

Tnx for the reply Ron :)
Did you use the obfuscator (CliSecure) as a default protection you add to your products or was it a client's requisition?
Fact is that I need a more rebust product than an obfuscator, but I wasn't sure that CP is the right site to ask this...
I also need to hide constants like strings that are sensitive, and I need tamper detection (and defense if possible)

Database management can be achieved via MS SQL Management Studio (it's a free download).
It can be done remotely - meaning you can manage a remote SQL on a machine that has Managemenet Studio installed :)

See update about configuring the virtual directory as an application...
Also, if the server is remote (and I guess it is) then perhaps you have this line:
<authentication mode="Windows">
if so, you might be blocked by the server with Windows Authentication, you might want to remove that line...

C# code runs on the Server Side.
Javascript runs on the Clinet Side.
The whole purpose of the Server Side is to produce the HTML that will run on the Client Side, containg all sorts of things in that HTML like CSS, Javascript, Silverlight, Flash etc.
Some times, you want to manually edit and add Javascript to the page (HTML) so that is will run on the Client Side. E.G you might want to write certain JS code that depends on the parameters in the C#, instead of have that code in the JS file or blocks while it might not be needed.
RegisterClientScriptBlock
is code in C# used to dynamically write a script block into the HTML page.
