This is what worked.
"POST /Default.aspx?data=VGVzdERhdGE%3d HTTP/1.1\r\nHost: vztest.cloudapp.net\r\nContent-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded\r\nContent-Length: 0\r\n\r\n";

Is that just like it is...with spaces, forward slashes etc? The above still does not seem to be working for me.

I do understand that. The reason for the C++ tag is someone with C++ knowledge could also know the answer to this question. They might have more intimate knowledge of the HTTP protocol.

Thanks...you made me step back and have a look at what was REALLY going on. I had an extra Convert.ToBase64String in there when it should have been something more along the lines of:
System.Text.Encoding encoding=null;
encoding = new System.Text.UTF8Encoding();
String EventToSend = encoding.GetString(Serialize(ev));

Thanks for the answer....but....I understand checking for null/values, Global.SpellEngine should never be null unless there's a failure. There IS a failure and that's the failure that I am seeing...Global.SpellEngine == null. My question is WHY is this null and how can I rectify it? I want Global.SpellEngine to exist for the life of the web app.
Thanks.

This worked. Thanks. Now why wouldn't the application restart every time I load it using Web Deploy? Also, it doesn't restart when I cycle the server or IIS.

I have tried something like this but get this error stating that the .cs file does know anything about the control:
C:\Web\Site.Master.cs(13,32): error CS1061: 'SiteMaster' does not contain a definition for 'User' and no extension method 'User' accepting a first argument of type 'SiteMaster' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
C:\Web\Site.Master.cs(15,9): error CS0103: The name 'HeadLoginName' does not exist in the current context

WordSuggestions, in each Key, holds a misspelled word that was found (in order to reference it in the original document). The List associated to each Key holds a list of strings that represents the suggested/possible correct spelling for that Key string. You can see the JSON encoded packet above.

This suggests that I need to recompile the dll's is that correct? Is there no other way to use Hunspell on a shared hosting server with medium and not full trust?

One other strange thing...I have two RichTextBoxes. One read only that had the black issue and one that was used for data entry. The data entry one did not have this issue and gave the expected black text on white background.

Update....
I found out that the person using the computer has an IAR compiler with the display settings to display white text on black background. I don't understand why this would have an effect on my RTB. I then forced the blackground to white on form_load:
rtb.BackColor = Color.White;
This seems to have fixed the problem.

Never mind...I think I will use IsolatedStorageFileStream to get this done.
Thanks for your answer Christian.
