I don't know why it won't work. I am using VB Win Forms Project. I have never used WPF, don't even know what it is. I am an inventor who uses programming (VB6 in particular) to invent or create Industry Specific Software. I have developed 2 programs one for the Oil & Gas industry in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), the other program is for Centralized Lubrication for Gas Compressors, lathes and equipment and car assembly lines. As I work on my own it took a lot, then Microsoft came out with Win 7 and my program wouldn't work in it mainly because of certain 3rd party tools. So I am trying to learn a bit of VB.net to see if I can make my programs work. The big thing is Control Arrays, vb.net just does it all different. Anyway I am trying but a simple thing like passing a Shape Mousedown event to the usercontrol MouseDown event is just wasting time as I can't find a solution. Thanks for your help but I have to find a different solution.

And I thank you Graeme, I am still trying to figure it out though. I think I'll start a new project and use a picture box instead of a Rectangle and see what happens. Oh Please take me back to VB6! LOL!
