it doesn't matter if the column names doesn't match.
In case you choose to use (*), only what should match are these below:
1- type of columns.
2- number of columns.
but column names doesn't matter

Yes, in case you will not use the (*), You can choose specific columns, as you said.

DELETE FROM [dbo].[VISION_SALEHIST4]
GO
INSERT INTO [dbo].[VISION_SALEHIST4] SELECT * FROM [TOMSQLVISION].[VISION_2020].[REAL_PROP].[VW_HSALE]
GO
Note: It must be both tables have the same columns and the same order.

You will need (Crystal report Developer Edition) just for designing and developing.
So, my suggestion is:
install runtime version on clients, and if the (server) will run reports then install runtime version on it.
No need to install (Crystal report Developer Edition) on the server.

For Crystal Report should install 32bit to solve the problem, no matter what he setup his App (32bit or 64bit).. it will work.

Make sure that you use the right parameter of the patient ID you going to delete, is this parameter (lblRowID.Text) is the right ID for the record you going to delete.

Thank you for reply.
I use the Performance Monitor in Windows to see what is happening, CPU performance is working normal, memory gets full about 95% when storing files up to 250MB.

Encrypt files and decrypt them is also a good idea ..

The server is located on the same client machine so I don't worry about database size .. etc. also the reason of why I want to store files in database is becuase the data is sensitive and I don't want others see them outside database.
