Okay, what have you tried so far? This is a Q&A site. We can answer specific questions, but can not design the whole DB for you.
I suggest you start identifying the domain entities first and their relationships.

Unfortunately I won't be able to write code for you, but here are steps at a broad level, I am sure if you google you can figure out the way:
1. Write a console app
2. In it, try to read your excel file
3. Identify your DB tables and columns and how they map to the columns in the excel
4. Insert data from your excel into the DB
5. Now if everything works all right, then add a new task scheduler to windows and have this console exe invoked at specified intervals
CoderPanda
24-Feb-14 1:34am

Yes, sure, but in that case you will have to write a windows service that runs at scheduled times and reads excel files from the desired location and imports into sql server. This will be certainly more effort than having a SSIS package.

Second - go through the links given and try to make a decision about which one to go with.

Hi,
Sorry, questions isn't clear.
If you want to just tell the user that he/she can not copy it more than once then you can provide your own terms of copyright and distribution along with the software. See the link below for introduction to licensing of software:
http://haacked.com/archive/2013/07/17/license-your-code.aspx/
Otherwise if you want the user to not be able to copy it more than once then you will have to program it accordingly. That is a whole different story.

Hello Kornfield, thanks for your valuable suggestions. I can think of the following without being sure about them:
1. The OP actually mentioned dataset but didn't really mean the c# ado.net dataset. He may just mean his data items as a whole.
2. The realtime need of a solution many a times outweigh the actual solution. So as long as the OP is benefited with it should we really complain. Of course I don't guarantee that my solution is 100% and I am just trying to help. And I think the OP's job is to ensure the solution actually fits into his overall design/architectre and the broad scheme of things.
Please let me know if you think this is a valid approach.

Okay. So the problem here is src="". It should have the path of an image.
Can you please check if the following lines of code are having any values while debugging? Put a break point on those lines and see if correct paths are being formed.
string imgpath=nodelist[i].InnerText;
and
images.Add(fileInfo[j].Name);
From then on you have to keep going backwards and see where the file name isn't coming into the image array properly.

Actually no. If you see this post below, there is no clear solution to this and it seems like a bug with VS. Which is why I suggested creating a brand new solution manually and taking your code files to it project by project. Honestly, this isn't an elegant solution, but then you may end up losing a lot of time researching this anyways.

Thanks for the details. I still maintain my answer. I think for inspiration you can download the log parser lizard tool and see how the functionality works as your requirements are also similar.
Here is how I would do it:
1. List down all possible fields/columns in your log file.
2. Build a C++/C#/whatever app. Inside the app build log parser queries based on the columns and conditions selected by the user on the UI.
3. Execute those queries against the desired files and generate output in form of text or CSV files.
4. Now use the output csv to display whatever report you like to.
Hope it helps.
