You just start with simple console apps then move to windows apps. Practice and practice. You wont learn if you just read.

Try with java script. Call this code when its the add is clicked.
function pageScroll() {
window.scrollBy(0,50); // horizontal and vertical scroll increments
scrolldelay = setTimeout('pageScroll()',100); // scrolls every 100 milliseconds
}

Try if this works..
Session["Value1"] = gridView.Rows[e.RowIndex].Cells[1].Text;
and retrieve the value on the other page like.
String value1 = Session["Value1"].ToString();

Yes you can. You need to have an SMS gateway. Contact your local service provider if they can offer you a webservice for sending SMS.

What i understood is this.. "You have a webpage and there is an ad being displayed. If someone tries to close the ad, the page scrolls down to the end. If clicked again, it will come back to normal position."

What you are trying to do is far ahead of your knowledge, I'm not criticizing you but you mentioned that you do not know webservices. Just start off from smaller projects and learn the basics things first.

.NET Just provides general components. Its your job to customize them as per your requirement. You can use the gridview to show the time table and some javascript work for popups and other stuff.

You can use built in validation tools provided by asp.net. This way you can avoid validateTextTest() and rest works fine.
