QuestionUnlock already mounted volume, on boot Pin

My apologies if this has been mentioned before, but I searched, and could not find the reference i need. On the device in question there is a legacy NTFS partition, that i have my old VM stored on. The partition is mounted in fstab, but not unlocked. This is a slight annoyance once VMware Server 2.0 services start. The DataStore never scans the legacy partition properly, and the inventoried VM is inaccessible, making me remove and add the VM every time. Also crippling any possibility of me making the VM start on boot.

After stating the background, i was wondering if there is any way possible to create a script, which will run before the VMware services start, and will unlock the volume. I only recently started using any Linux OS's, and this is the first linux install i have used on an actual machine (all others were observed in VMware). An unlock command, and the proper method for implementing it at boot would be appreciated.

My apologies is this question is seen as irrelevant, or outside the boundaries of this forum. I simply couldn't think of anywhere better to seek assistance.

(OS:Ubuntu ... please don't poke fun... i really enjoy using Mint, but this seemed more suited to the device)
