we are trying o implement this in <b>asp.net 2.0 C#</b> and when we try to run the project it is giving this error can anybody help please urgent we took this project named as blogengine.net from http://www.codeplex.com/blogengine
It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

Iam using a Regular Expression Validator to validate Text Box for numbers ..... so that only numbers are entered. I have used the expression [0-9] but this does not work ....... Is the expression wrong......

Hi
I m using VS.NET 2003. I m workling on web application using VB.Net.
Problem is that, when i run the project it takes so much time as compare to other projects of web applications and if i place break point in my application then it does not move line by line after the break point,to continue i have to run it again.
my other web projects are working well but having problem in this mentioned application.
does anyone know why it is happening?

We have a website and lot of session variables are used. These may not be destroyed or abandoned. How can we destroy all sessions when the user closes the browser.
Is Session_Onend in global.asax is the best way to do it?
Please suggest.

When user closes browser window, no event will be fired at the server side. What is your session time out ? Normally 20minutes if you have not changed. When user closes browser, immediately session won't end. It will be there until it gets timed out. When session ends, ASP.NET will raise Session_end in Global.asax.
So you don't need to worry about ending sessions explicitly on browser close.

The sssion time out is 15 mins and we want the session to be expired once the user close the browser.
