Curry (the orange cat, surprise) knocked over a lamp which broke the bulb, pieces of glass all over the rug. When I plugged in the vacuum cleaner and turned it on, it popped the circuit breaker. The power surge fried my cable modem, so now I don't have "real" Internet access until the cable guy comes tomorrow morning. Currently using my phone as a hotspot, which is working quite well.

Then, an hour later, I hear this thump followed by squeak-squeak -- Earl Grey (gee, guess is color) had caught a mouse (his second in 4 days) in the bedroom! I chased him (the cat) downstairs with mouse in mouth (the cat's, not mine), grabbed a glass and lid, and managed to get Earl Grey to drop the mouse, still very alive and kicking, which I managed to trap. Mouse is now back outside. Hopefully he'll know not to come back where a cat can catch him.

What a fun day for all!
