I would like to start playing lineage 2 (just wanting to see new version, have been 4 years off), but the damm computer (new install) is still searching for updates (aprox. 36 hours searching right now) so I could not backup system yet (don't like to backup games)

1.212.075 packets in "received", the only thing working online is "searching for updates"
Last time (father-in-law's laptop) was 20 hours , 550+ updates in the list (installing back win7 from last backup I did to his system after he got "upgraded")
Now is a new desktop for me, sadly I have no backup yet for this hardware and have to get the list from W7-SP1 until today... I would expect a bit more speed.

Clinton or Trump in the very near future. Whom to choose? Dunno, i'm not an american citizen. There are only a few things I like from Americans... hollywood, sexy guitars, nirvana, STP, metallica and microsoft!
Edit: I forgot to include "Chuck Norris"

Conversely, there is only one thing Americans like from non-Americans when the topic is US politics:
Silence

... but only Americans can attest to that. Anyone can confirm this?

Unfortunately, I don't think many Americans care. This whole spectacle is like a runaway train with two monkeys fighting over the controls, while the passengers sit idly by in the coaches taking selfies with their smart phones and complaining that they aren't being treated fairly by the steward serving drinks.

That's pretty rude there Mike.. think you owe the non-americans an apology. They may not be able to vote, but how they perceive our potential future leaders is worth considering.
That said, a programming forum lounge isn't the place I want to see a lot of political discussion going on it.

As long as you're evaluating more than what you see on TV, then great.
However, I take it that you wouldn't mind if the US president offended, say China's leaders, so much that they got a hefty tariff enacted on all electronics shipped to the US, enough to double the cost of all electronic gizmos and gear? Or you wouldn't mind if the US president pissed off, say Mexico's leader, so much that they doubled the cost of most of the fruits and vegetables in the grocery stores during the winter months?
I'm not saying who to vote for, merely that how they will play on the international political stage deserves some consideration.
Sometimes, these actions are long term.. for a historical perspective, look at the Chicken Tax[^].

After this "circus" currently going on, I think most Americans would prefer silence as well.

Absolutely!
After the eternity of the dozens of clowns announcing their candidacies, the primaries and now the next 9 weeks until we vote most sane Americans only want it to stop.

As a non-American, I'd like the same thing from Americans on the same topic.
We'll stop talking about it when you stop US Politics from vomiting all over our news channels, forums and Tw@tter feeds.
Oh, and if you could see your way clear to not electing an idiot or a criminal to a position where they could destroy the world with the press of a button, that would be nice. Thanks.
