Oh, alright! I just think there are bands who do both playing folk songs that sound folky and playing not folk songs so that they sound folky a whole lot better and a good deal more distinctively than this. Not many, unfortunately (and nobody will ever replace Steeleye Span) but enough for me to be underwhelmed with this one. A cover of something completely out of the folk wheelhouse given a complete makeover might win me over but ....

No doubt.
A few years ago I've seen Lebocha at Castlefest (an unknown Belgian band that I can't even find decent recordings of online). They covered the James Bond theme and they did so pretty awesome while still remaining folky (glad I bought their CD back then)!
But I don't like this song for its fine musicianship or its originality. I just like it because it makes me smile (and it's still better than most folk I've heard) 
I can sing along to the lyrics and I can do a little folk dance to it while making breakfast.
When I want some technical prowess I'll put on other music (preferably not folk)
