Chrome v42 is becoming a pain:

I've resorted to IE for NowTV (which uses Silverlight); and I've just been blocked from completing a purchase at the VISA verification stage (possibly something to do with SSLv3 support - I've yet to investigate - it worked okay last week).

I know there may be Chrome flags that I can set to get around some issues but it now looks like I'll need to use an alternative browser (IE?) for everyday use.

I'm aware that there are issues with plug-ins and with protocols that have possible security weaknesses/issues - but the technologies that Chrome is dropping support for *are* still in use (and I don't think that Silverlight is going away anytime soon).

Do any of you wholeheartedly support Google's approach with Chrome? Do you just boycott sites that use unsupported technologies?

I'm off to research my options.
