My first born is 13 on Friday. She wanted a *special* day out on Saturday with some friends. After deciding that it would just be her and three friends from school we agreed to a small treat for the day.
In the morning we're taking them to our club for a mini make-over, what ever that entails, then after swimming we'll be having lunch there. Then in the afternoon we're taking the four of them to the cinema. It would probably be worse, but we must end it there as we're off to a friend's 30th in the evening.
I can't see the bill being far short of £400 for the day out once you add in treats at the cinema plus the little odds and sods they will no doubt require as part of the make-over.
First I married one and took my free will, now I am bringing up two who take all my money. I do love the three of them, but they ain't 'alf expensive! Girls - can't live with 'em, can't feed 'em to the wolves.
