Just came across this video[^] (Feb 2012), where the Geologist says that the Colorado river has gouged out 800 cubic miles of rock, over several million years. Really feel minusculeminuscule in front of this.

The nearest I came there was back in May 2001. While sitting in a window seat on a flight from Dallas Fort Worth to San Jose. Was looking out, when I saw an exquisite land formation. I presume that is the Grand Canyon. Please correct me if wrong.
