Thanx for ur response.i traid those tags.even then also its opening a new popup window but the difference is parent form is getting the focus.

its not possible to add scroll bar to a datagrid..
u can do it by placing the datagrid inside div tag and set the style attribute as style="overflow:auto"

Hi
Does any one know whether ASP.net has Folder Browser object. I know that windows application has got Folder browser object, i am looking for something similar in ASP.net so that when a user clicks a button to load a file to the web server, then a folder browser opens up.
Can anyone help????

From my openion use html control instead of ASP control because you are going to upload the file from client to server and make it run at server ok for html use this one

I need to amend a class module which shows a calendar view of a schedule with ranges of dates held, for booked courses, in database shown in red. The control generates a table cell for each day. I need to show a tooltip whenever the mouse is over any of the cells for a course booking showing data for the course name and a delegate list from a database.
The module uses HTMLTableCells to produce a calendar type display.
I've added a property, ToolTipText to the class module but don't know how to proceed.

Hi all,
As I change web.config file, all the session variables will be flushed. I want to redirect user on the change of web.config to a pre-defined page. Where can I detect the change in web.config file in my ASP.NET 2005 web application?
Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In fact when the web.config changes, the entire web application restarts and so will every seperate session. You can handle the session_start event, and redirect users to e certain page when the session starts, or detect session existance on seperate pages and redirect them from there when the session does not exist.

Actually when web.config changes all the session variables will expires and my application generates exception at the time of checking any of the Session variable. The main problem is the Exception which is caused by web.config change. So how and where am I able to detect this Session related exception in the application?

you can check if a session exists. I think your checking for a value or something, but the value of the session appears to be null because the session doesn't exist anymore...
