When I was compiling one of my java program i got the error to recompile with -Xlint ? I m unknown to this can anybody help and xplain that what is -Xlint?

This never hits... It'll cycle through every pixel in the texture and never hit on a non-transparent pixel. What am I doing wrong?
EDIT: It looks like whether or not I use GL_ALPHA or GL_RGBA, pixel.get() returns 0 for every pixel... it's not grabbing it from the texture or I'm not using ByteBuffer correctly... hmm...

Well... I fixed my problem by just not using OpenGL so the question still stands for anyone who comes across this thread.

I have a list of objects, and I need to output them in a JTable. In order to do this, I am trying with a while loop.
Without the while loop, rows are inserted. On the other hand, using the while loop, the applications goes inside the loop but it does not effect the JTable output.
Code used
DefaultTableModel starModel = new DefaultTableMode();
int starCounter = 0;
while (starCounter < list.size()){
starModel.addRow(new Object[]{"test"})
}
jtableVariable = new JTable(starModel);

i) you never increment the counter, so this is an infinite loop
ii) ... unless the list has zero items in which case you won't get any rows.

Thanks....on the other hand I solved the problem by doing an action listener on another object. Thanks anyways, thought something was missing.

i am developing an application on network monitoring tool and i have almost completed 70% of my project ... now i want to show the routing information in my GUI design ...
my motive is to display routing table information in my GUI design... i m using netbeans 7.1 IDE and windows 7 (OS).
(u can see images/photo) of routing table from google)
even we are using netscan.exe software to see all this thing .. so how to display it in java .... plz help..

Display what? You need to decide what you wish to display and then use the Java drawing classes to create whatever it is your project is doing. Take a look at the sections on graphics in the Java Tutorials[^].

You are thinking about some kind of switch or range extender. But that's not a computer.

There is nothing to enable, you just make a socket connection by IP address from A to B etc.

we have already tried it Sir,
But, the problem is the message can not send hop by hop. And our purpose is to enable sending message and file with aodv routing algorithm and udp protocol in mobile(laptop device) ad hoc network (not peer).

Why not?
Let as say A connects to be B and B to C
A sends a message "C do X" to B.
B gets the message and forwards it C.
This is how a peer-to-peer network works. If you receive a message for someone else you forward it to the next person.
You may need to set up some tables so that when A needs to send a message, he knows which of his connections to send it via.

every node (mobile->laptop device) act as a router and node C also can do that connection.
So, the topology of network not like peer to peer. It means that not only one router and another as a client, but, every node is a router.
