You can open your webpage in a pop-up that has no buttons no bars and no status bar (you do that with JavaScript; google it becouse there are tons of examples).
But you will still need a regular page with a link to this pop-up.

Hi,
Im using VS 2005 for a .Net 2.0 c# project.
I have a calendar control on the page and have set-up a SqlDataSource to retrieve the required data.
I need to use the calendar to show the title of events happening on any given day. How can i bind the database data to the calendar? Eg the SqlDataSource retrieves all data from the appropriate SQL2005 table. Then as each day of the calendar is rendered any corresponding events, have their title displayed in that corresponding day / date?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Munklefish.

I am trying to remove list box items dynamically based upon the visible coumns in a gridview. I have a command that can remove columns from the grid but when I execute this I would like it to update the listbox and remove the names of the columns that I removed from it. The code that I have is as follows:
Protected Sub btnUpdate_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs)
Dim li As ListItem
Dim liNum As Integer = -1
Dim colNum As Integer = -1
For Each li In CheckBoxList2.Items
liNum += 1
colNum += 1
Select Case CheckBoxList2.Items.Item(liNum).Value
Case liNum
If li.Selected Then
GridView1.Columns(colNum).Visible = False
Else : GridView1.Columns(colNum).Visible = True
End If
End Select
Next
colNum = 0
For Each li In CheckBoxList2.Items
If GridView1.Columns(colNum).Visible = False Then
MsgBox(colNum)
ListBox1.Items.Remove(GridView1.Columns(colNum).ToString)
End If
colNum += 1
Next
End Sub
Everything seems to work and I even through in the
MsgBox(colNum)
to make sure that the code is executing correctly and it is. I think my problem is this code:
ListBox1.Items.Remove(GridView1.Columns(colNum).ToString)
Any help would be appreciated.

From the information you have given, one can only say this for certain:
They have different file extensions.
And that is assuming that you are actually talking about file names.
If the .exe file is an executable file, it might be a .NET executable. It may also be a DOS program or an unmanaged windows program.
The .class extension is usually used for Java files. If that is the case in this case, it has nothing at all to do with .NET.

Hi
I want to give download access to only authenticated users. Even any body know my Zip file url like http://localhost/Test/one.zip he should not be able to download the files Same like codeproject.com.
I place all Zip files in my Download Folders also containing a Web config file with the following settings.
<allow users="Member,Admin"/>
<deny users="*"/>
When i access aspx pages in that folder it redirect me to Login Page but when I access zip file then it shows File Open Save Dialog and able to download which should not happen.
Please let me know the solutions.
Thanks.

This has been discussed many times before.
There are many solutions. Perhaps the one you would like the most would be to rewrite the URL to some ASPX page.
So if the user types:
http://your_site/download/SomeFile.zip
he would actually access: ../download/download.aspx?File=SomeFile.zip (you can do this in web.config)
and then your authorization settings will apply to that file (your download.aspx file should then output the file to the user).

Another option is to sign up for an online SMS company that will allow you to send or receive SMS messages via the their API.

Let me help you, if you are relationated with XML Web Services, you can use this easy solution.
first.
goes to http://www.webservicex.net/WS/WSDetails.aspx?CATID=4&WSID=60
you will find the Send SMS World Web Service, this web service Send unlimited free SMS to a countries who support it.
Second.
add Web service Reference to your ASP.NET project
the address is http://www.webservicex.net/sendsmsworld.asmx
The name for the reference is in this example is ServerSms
third.
Use the code
try
{
string from = "Emitter E-mail";
string to = "Receiver Phone Number";
string countryCode = new String();
string message = "Hello World";
//Create a object from the ServerSms Class
ServerSms.SendSMSWorld engine = new ServerSms.SendSMSWorld();
engine.sendSMS(from, countryCode, to, message);
Estate.Text = "Your Message was send to " + to;
}
catch(Exception)
{
Estate.Text = "Send message Error"
}
